Holcim Ready Flow (HRF)

High Performance Fly Ash Cement for Ultimate Durability
Holcim Ready Flow is a high performance cement product especially formulated for the ready-mix industry. It is produced by intergrinding high grade clinker, consistent quality fly ash and specially developed additives by our research and development team.

Concrete produced with the fly ash cement delivers a reduced permeability, higher late strength, reduced alkali-silica reaction and reduces the water for equal workability that meets your requirements for foundation, slab, columns and large infrastructure works.

Holcim Ready Flow complies with all the requirements of CEM II/A-V 42.5 as defined by MS EN 197-1:2000

Reduced Temperature

Cement with fly ash reduces the heat of hydration so it will decrease temperature differences within massive concrete structures. This property will be helpful for hot weather concreting. This will minimize or prevent micro thermal cracking, thereby, avoiding the corrosion of embedded steel reinforcement.

Sulphate Resistance

Sulphate in soils and groundwater can cause expansion in concrete structures. Fly ash cement improves the sulphate resistance therfore making it the best cement to be used for marine construction works, water retaining structures, large floor slabs and dams. This will enhance Holcim Ready Flow's concrete durability.

  • Higher late strength
  • Long-lasting structures
  • Improved workability

  • Bridges
  • Concrete pavement
  • Marine structures
  • Piers and wharves
  • Foundations
  • Large slabs
  • Tunnels
  • Dams

The shelf life of the Holcim Ready Flow cement depends on the storage conditions. Contact with air, water or moisture will cause the deterioration of the cement performance. It is best to use the cement within 3 months from the date of manufacturing. 6 months storage is possible subject to condition of storage, temperature and humidity. If deterioration is suspected, testing prior to usage is recommended.

Quality Control

Holcim Ready Flow is produced under stringent quality controlled environment that complies with all the requirements of CEM II/B-V 42.5 N as defined by the MS EN 197-1:2000. The fly ash component used is in line with our company's direction towards providing green and environmental friendly products, which significantly helps in the reduction of CO 2 emissions.

Health and Safety

Cement is classified as an irritant and any direct contact with the skin should be avoided. It is recommended to use Personal Protective Equipment before using the product and/or any of its components. The equipment should include eye protection, hand and skin protection and dust masks. First aid treatment should involve the immediate bathing of the affected area with water.
